IMPRESSION OF STUDENTS

I liked the trip to Turkey very much. My family was very friendly and hospitable. They wete still asking me if I was not hungry. They gave me really nice presents such as a beautiful dress, 2 T- shirts and also some Turkish delights for my family.  But I have to say that furnishing was very poor comparing to our house at home. There was not a shower in their bathroom  – people wash themselves in a bucket! Turkish toilets are also not my favouriteJ. The sightseeing trips were great. Sea was cold but we did not get discouradged by it and went swimming. The whole trip was remarkable experience for me!

Anna Sobková, 6th class, Czech republic

I liked the festival to celebrate the Day of children. Traditional Turkish dances were showed there and also  music which is totally different than in our country. People in Turkey are very hospitable. I got so many presents that I had a problem to pack them all into my suitcaseJ Trips were very interesting and we had  nice weather too. I was really surprised that almost everyone wanted to take a photo with us. We felt like celebritiesJ

My trip to Turkey

For me the trip to Turkey was a very important opportunity  because it was the third time I travelled on a plane and the second time I travelled to a foreign country. In Mersin we met a lot of people from other countries. At the beginning I was scared because Alex and I were the youngest. The visit that impressed to me a lot was when we saw a castle in the middle of the sea. The name of the castle is Girl Castle. The trip in general was really good and it was useful to prove myself that I can speak English and I can do new friends from all over the world.

The Turkish week

I loved travelling to Turkey. I think it was a really good experience. For me, this trip meant a lot. I learned about different cultures, I met new people and I visited interesting places. People in Turkey  were very  nice, the food was very good, except one vegetable that I didn’t like. I lived in Limonlu for almost a week. We were like tourists. Breakfast was really nice. The first day I had for breakfast eggs with chips, bread with chocolate cream, a cup of milk and a jelly orange sweet that I don’t know the name. We ate a lot of kebaps  for dinner too. I loved visiting new places and practicing a lot of sports and games. And we saw a castle in the middle of the sea. It was awesome!
