Impressions of children

I took part in a Comenius partners meeting in Spain from 5th to 10th May 2014. I was living with my friend Mikel who I met on another partners meeting in Poland and where we became friends. It was great – we played games during evenings, played Playstation, composed songs and had a lot of fun. One day all the hosting families took us to a shopping mall to play bowling. I was a total looser but if the player with the lower score could win then I would be an absolute winner I liked the most the second day when we were in the school where I met many new people. The faunia was also very nice. I liked there penguins and seals the most. I can say that during the tour bus around Madrid I found that city beautiful.

I have found new friends there, learned new things and can say that I enjoyed it a lot!
Matouš Kaleta, 5th class

The programme which was prepared for us was very interesting and varied. Visiting the royal palace was the most contributive for me because I learned some new facts about the spanish history and I can use all the facts on my history classes at school. I liked a lot the Faunia world too. The weather was very nice all the time – it was sunny and hot. The afternoon programme with my hosting family was very interesting and funny.
We also tried some traditional food which I found strange but tasty. I would rate the trip to 4 and half stars out of five. I must take out half of the star because of small problems with communication between the staff of the school or in the visited buildings.
I am happy I could take part on this trip because I spentwonderful time there and found new friends
Barbora Badidová, 7th class

We departured from Ostrava in early morning by train to Prague from where we flew to Madrid. My hosting family gave me a warm welcome which was very nice. There were 4 members of the family and name of the girl who took care of me was Lola González. Fist meal I tried there was a potato omelete which is a typical meal in Spain.
I liked sightseeing Madrid and castles a lot. I can say that Madrid is really a beautiful city as it is said by the others. One evening all the families gathered in a shopping centre where we played bowling. It was fun and there was a great atmosphere. I liked the most the last day, it was my birthday and I got a lot of small presents. We visited Faunia in the afternoon and I consider that as the best in the programme.
Spain was great and wonderful. I met a lot of new people and hope that I will come back one day.
Michaela Mižochová, 9th class

We left Ostrava in early morning and arrived to Madrid around 6 p.m. Hosting families were waiting for us infront of the school and welcomed us nicely. I lived in a huge flat which surprised me a lot. The family was very nice and funny and despite the fact that the mum did not speak English we always found a way to underestand each other. Breakfasts were almost the same I am used to eat at home but lunches and dinners were totally different. I enjoyed trip to Faunia the most. Faunia is similar to our dinoparks. The whole trip was fantastic and I hope I will visit Spain once again some day.
