Vocabulary games

Тhe last working meeting on the project ‘GAMES – FUN, KNOWLEDGE AND FRIENDSHIP’, on Comenius Programme, took place in the town of Ostrava, Czech Republic, from 2nd to 5th June. The partners took part in the perfectly organized activities according to the programme prepared by the hosts. The meeting started with a visit to the school where the newly invented games were presented. In the school gym, all the 44 children participated in the Olympic games for children, specially organized for them. The third day was marked by a visit of the Town Hall with its amazing tower, which is the highest in the republic. This was followed by an official lunch with Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Ostrava. The third day was very exciting for the Carnival of toys and games, swimming in the impressive swimming pool of the school before that, a barbecue with children and parents of the host families in the school yard. The fourth day was the day of the tournament of invented games in the open and the official final dinner with praising the certificates.

My trip to Ostrava  (By Diego Pérez) The week I was in the Czech Republic was fantastic. I was with a very nice family. The food was a little bit different to what we eat in Spain but it was OK. On the other side, the weather was cold during the first two days but the rest of the week it was quite hot. I think their culture is very interesting. I would like to go there another time but first I need to learn Czech.

My opinion about my trip to Ostrava (By Samuel Pidal) I loved the trip to the Czech Republic but we walked a lot. Perhaps some activities were a little bit boring but most of them were very funny and interesting.  I loved when we drove the segway. For me, it was the best activity. I also liked the activity we did from pine to pine and the visit to the Town Hall. I really enjoyed it and I want to visit Ostrava another time!

My experience in Ostrava (By Irene Ruiz) My trip to Ostrava was very good and the family that hosted me was very nice with me too. I liked all the monuments and buildings in the city. They are very beautiful, specially the main square with those colorful houses and fountains. For me, the best activity was when we play mini golf and when we were at the lake with the small boats. On the other hand, I have to say that I didn’t like the first day at school. Maybe that is because I don’t like sports too much. I wish I could go to Ostrava again but my mother said that it is too far away.

I liked everything on my trip to Ostrava (By Sergio Paradela) I liked everything of my trip to Ostrava: the monuments, the mountain, the mines and also the food and the beautiful coins and bills they have. From the activities we had, I liked the Segway, when we played mini golf and I also enjoy the visit to the Town Hall and the views from its tower. But the thing I liked the most, was my host family. They helped me a lot and they took care of me and my friends.

Memories from Czech Republic – Poland
I’ve got plenty of great memories after the stay in Czech Republic. On the second day, when we were at school, the students prepared beautiful performance for us. During the next days, we were on the viewpoint in the city where we saw panorama of Ostrava. We met mayor and visited the Town Hall. We were in the rope park. The school in the Czech Republic was very nice. I had the opportunity to meet many nice people who are my friends now. I’m very glad I could take part in the Comenius project.

I’m very happy I had the opportunity to take part in Comenius exchange project. We were traveling to Ostrava by bus and when we got there I met my partner David. We have visited many places in the city of Ostrava. We were in the 5D cinema, and saw the museum of miniatures with David. He gave me a lot of gifts. I learned a lot of useful vocabulary and also met new friends there. What was the greatest – I was playing kin ball! I really want to do it again. All my travel was amazing and I hope there will be another in a short time.

In the Czech Republic was very good. I met many wonderful people. We visited many interesting places such as the Town Hall from which you could see the whole panorama of Ostrava. During the stay in the Czech Republic there was a very nice atmosphere. Viki’s family welcomed me warmly. They were very hospitable. We are friends with Viki and her friends – Terka, Kacu Matyho. I hope that I will visit Ostrava again. I love the Czech Republic!
