Summary
Informal, non-formal, and formal education are distinct parts of permanent education in a society where big grades at school do not always assure social and professional success.
Non-formal education is any organized educational activity outside the established formal system that is intended to serve identifiable learning clienteles (in this case our students) and learning objectives. Approaching daily life with science, enables everyone to put what he learns to good use and thus prevents him from forgetting everything. In addition, group work, assuming responsibility, the interplay between work and study, with stress on research, the intercultural exchange are only a few from the strengths of the following project:

PROJECT OBJECTIVES AND STRATEGY
A) The specific objectives of the partnership:
1. Integration of non-formal education into the formal educational system, to increase students’ motivation and mixed abilities; Extracurricular activities will be focused on cultural activities and outdoor activities.
2. Intercultural exchange in order to overcome cultural differences and promote good practices;
We will develop an innovative model of sustainable non-formal learning, based on the method of attractive extracurricular activities.
These activities will lead to a merge publication in the form of a published magazine. A pdf version from the project’s blog site will be downloaded on the Internet.
The activities are thought to involve high and low motivated students as well. That’s why cultural activities are supplied with outdoor activities, being known that bodily kinaesthetic students are usually disadvantaged by the traditional way of learning. Moreover, spending some time with organised outdoor activities will offer an alternative to Internet addicted children.
B) Topics and expected results
B.1 Good communication competencies
We want to develop our students’ creativity and communicative skills organizing a contest of story telling. On the other hand, Creative Writing will be the subject of a workshop organised by the Romanian hosts during the first project meeting.
B.2 Intercultural understanding
Language as a social instrument of communication will play an important role in the intercultural dialogue. Partners will learn new things about the language of European neighbours and their own language. All the languages play the same role. Moreover, own cultural identity will be promoted and all children involved in the project will learn to respect other cultures and traditions as well.
This sort of activities will cover the issue of migration and social integration. Both coordinators and learners are affected to varying degrees, as there were large waves of migration in different directions.
B.3 Involvement in different outdoor activities.
- competitions, sports activities that involve boys and girls as well;
- friendly matches will be organized by the host countries when visited;
- children will play together;
- trips and visits organized by each school
B.4. Environmental awareness:
Through different activities, including voluntary work, our students will be educated to respect the environment. Endangered species in our country is the theme of a debate for the 2nd project meeting.
